My trip is still more than 2 months away. I would like to reserve a car. Must I pay in full upon reservation?

If the website asks you to do, so then yes. If it were later in the year it does ask for a small deposit and balance to be paid online nearer the time.

So if i have to pay in full as per the car that i have chosen now, how do i know if there will be any refund if I need to cancel or modify?

I am currently looking at Compact Citreon C4, REntal from 30 May, 5pm to 7 June 5pm. Both pick up and drop off at BAyswater, London. The rate is GBP460.72 for 8 days

The first thing to say is, type in the exact address. Not just London (obviously). So, search "Bayswater" to be sure you are being shown the nearest open location.

I have done that and was showned a list of cars, out of which 1 of them is Citreon C4
